Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Futures Insider — our free trading tools and the promotional Bid-to-Win events we host on behalf of independent prop trading firms. By using the site, creating an account, or placing a bid, you agree to them.

What Futures Insider is

Futures Insider operates informational tools for futures traders — including the Pass Probability Calculator and Prop Firm Finder — and hosts Bid-to-Win, a promotional bidding format through which independent prop trading firms give away funded-account evaluations. We are not a broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, funding provider, or financial advisor, and we do not issue, fund, or administer any trading account. Every account offered through a Bid-to-Win event is issued and administered entirely by the sponsoring firm, under that firm’s own terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, place a bid, or otherwise use Futures Insider. By using the site you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with the laws that apply to you, including any eligibility restrictions a sponsoring firm places on a given event.

Your account

Accounts are created with Google sign-in or an emailed magic link — we don’t use passwords. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the name and email on your account, since that’s the information we pass to a firm if you win an event, and for anything that happens under your account once you’re signed in. Contact us at /contact if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Bidding on a Bid-to-Win event

How many bids you get, how they’re placed, how winners are selected, and what happens after an event ends are all governed by our Event Rules, which are incorporated into these terms by reference. Read them before you bid. In short: bidding is free, bids only go up, and winners are chosen by the rules in effect for that event — not by discretionary judgment after the fact.

Our tools give estimates, not advice

The Pass Probability Calculator, the Prop Firm Finder, and every other tool on the site produce statistical estimates and informational comparisons based on the inputs you give them and rules we’ve compiled from public and firm-provided sources. None of it is financial, investment, trading, or legal advice, and we don’t guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or that a firm’s actual rules haven’t changed since we last checked. Trading futures carries a substantial risk of loss and isn’t suitable for every trader; any decision about which evaluation to buy or how to trade is entirely yours.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Create or use multiple accounts to gain extra bids or entries
  • Misrepresent your identity or the information on your account
  • Interfere with the site, including attempts to manipulate bidding, the leaderboard, or draw mechanics
  • Scrape or bulk-extract data from the site
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose

We can suspend or close an account that violates this section, including disqualifying entries obtained through it — see the Event Rules for how this applies to a specific event.

Partner firms are independent

Prop trading firms that sponsor events or appear in our tools are independent businesses, not Futures Insider subsidiaries, agents, or joint venturers. Their evaluation rules, funded-account terms, payout policies, and customer support are entirely their own, and any dispute about those things is between you and that firm. We’re not a party to, and don’t guarantee performance of, any agreement you enter into with a firm.

Termination

You can stop using Futures Insider at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access to the site — including an in-progress bid or entry — if we reasonably believe you’ve violated these terms, misused the platform, or created risk for other users or a partner firm. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including limitation of liability and governing law, continue to apply.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Futures Insider and its team aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, participation in a Bid-to-Win event, or reliance on any tool’s output — including a firm’s decision not to honor a result, a change in a firm’s rules, or a dispute between you and a firm. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount, if any, you’ve paid us directly — which for most users is zero, since our tools and event entry are free.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We’ll update the date above when we do, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. For a live event, the rules in effect when the event started govern that event.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — owner to confirm], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
